Dorothy Chin is an associate research psychologist at the Center for Culture, Trauma, and Mental Health Disparities, Jane and Terry Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, at the University of California Los Angeles. Her work focuses on communities of color, specifically on trauma, discrimination, health, and mental health. Her work also encompasses cultural psychology and cross-cultural research.
